About the event

During the first part of the talk, Lindsay Gladstone invites us to take the Night Journey. Every sunset the ancient Egyptian Sun god Ra on his solar barque would descend below the Western horizon, entering the darkness of the Duat, the realm of the twelve hours of the night.


Attended and protected by supernatural beings, the Divine principle would endure this perilous journey of terror overcoming Apep the great serpent of primordial chaos, re-emerging at dawn, the sunrise symbolizing the infinite power of light over darkness.

In western astrology, we associate the planet Pluto with descent into the Underworld, and we can apply Ra’s transformational process as a mythic template for navigating Pluto in Aquarius. Lindsay will draw out the Plutonian and Aquarian themes of this star-lore and suggest how we can use it to more consciously navigate our Pluto transits.
